| Text | "In the Name of God Amen, I Ester Huntington of the Towne of Kingston upon Hull Widow being of sound minde & memory praised be God doe make & declare this as my last will & testam[en]t vizt. Impr[imi]s I give devise & bequeath unto my son John Huntington & to his heires forever all that my house & Lands at Cottingham in the County of York now in th'occupation of Robert Sanders and alsoe all that my house & Lands at Melton in the same County now in the occupation of Roger Sawden and likewise all that messuage or Tenem[en]t in the said towne of Kingston upon Hull now in the occupation of my selfe & my assignes together with all & singular the edefices buildings rights members easem[en]ts profitts & appurten[a]nces whatsoever to the said premises hereby devised respectively belonging But my Will & meaning is that in case my said son shall happen to dye before he attains the age of one & twenty yeares or be marryed that then the said messuages lands & tenem[en]ts with their appurten[a]nces shall be remaine & come to my sister Anne Bacchus Spinster and my nephews John Bacchus son of my brother Mr. George Bacchus & William Bacchus son of my brother Mr. Mordecai Bacchus equally to be divided amongst them & to their wives & assignes equally as aforesaid forever. Item I give & bequeath unto my said sister Anne Bacchus all my wearing apparrell. I alsoe give unto her such house-hold goods of mine as she shall make choice of as most fitt & convenient for her not exceeding the value of tenn pounds. I likewise give devise & bequeath unto the said Anne Bacchus my sister the sume of tenn pounds p[er] annu[m] to be paid her yearly & every year dureing her naturall life by my Executor hereinafter named, by equall halfe yearly paym[en]ts to Com[m]ence from my death, and my Will is that in case default be made in paym[en]t of the said tenn pounds or any parte thereof at the dayes and times at which the same ought to be paid as aforesaid, that then my said sister shall or may enter to & upon the messuage or Tenem[en]t aforesaid with the appurten[a]nces in Kingston upon Hull, and hold & enjoy the same till out of the rents & profitts thereof she shall be satisfyed & paid the said tenn pounds p[er] annu[m] with the arre[a]rages thereof, which said legacyes of tenn pounds p[er] annu[m] & of my cloth's and tenn pounds value of my household goods as aforesaid I give unto her my said sister upon this Condition & provisoe and not otherwise that she quietly permitt & suffer my said son to take receive have & enjoy all such goods plate linnen monys gold household stuff & oth[e]r things as shee & my selfe have a joynt Int[e]rest & concerne in, all the rest & residue of my goods chattells & estate hereby before unbequeathed (my debts being first paid & legacyes & funeralls discharged) I give devise & bequeath unto the aforesaid John Huntington my son, whome I make the full & sole Executor hereof, but in case he happen to dye before he attaine his age of one & twenty yeares or be marryed as aforesaid then I give & bequeath the same unto my said sister Anne Bacchus & my Nephews aforesaid John & William Bacchus to be equally divided amongst them, and in such case & from thenceforth the said paym[en]t of tenn pounds p[er] annu[m] as aforesaid to cease & be void. In Witness whereof I have hereto sett my hand & seale the sixteenth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand seaven hundred & five.
