    He was on the Commission of the Peace, co. York, North Riding, 9 June 1455, and East Riding, 2 February 1456/57.

    The escheators in cos. Northumberland, York and 6 others, York City and Newcastle-upon-Tyne were ordered to cause him to have full seisin of his father's lands, 16 February 1455/56.

    He was summoned to a Great Council, 29 November 1457.

    He had a licence to found a chantry (of St. Stephen) in York Minster, 27 June 1459.

    He was granted an annuity of £40 for good service against the rebels, 19 December 1459.

    He was Commissioner to make inquisition touching the goods of Richard, Duke of York, and other rebels co. York, 14 March 1459/60.

    He was Commissioner of Array, co. York, 2 March 1469/70.

    He was admitted (with his wife) to the Gild of Corpus Christi, York, 1475.

    Birth:
    At 2 inquisitions in 1456 after his father's death, he was found to be aged 26 and more, but 30 and more at an inquisition, 6 Edw. IV (4 Mar. 1466-3 Mar. 1467) after the death of his mother (Nicolas, Controversy, volume ii, pages 151, 137).

    Hereditary Title:
    He was summoned to Parliament from 9 October (1459) 38 Hen. VI to 19 August (1472) 12 Edw. IV, by writs directed to "Thome Lescrop. de Masham."
