  He had livery of his wife's inheritance, 16 November 1446, her paternal grandfather, Robert, Lord Poynings, having died 2 October 1446. [6] In July 1455 he was excused from attending Parliament for duties in the March, and in December following was among many peers to whom the King wrote upon their neglect to attend the Parliament summoned, and requiring their attendance, 14 January 1455/56. [7] He was attainted 4 November 1461, and the attainder was reversed in the Parliament of 1472–73 upon his son's petition. [8]
