House Surgeon, House Physician and Demonstrator in Anatomy at the London Hospital, 1894–8. Clinical Ophthalmic Assistant, Moorfields. Surgeon to the Gordon hospital and the Cancer hospital. Practised at 75, Wimpole Street, London. Author, Surgical Anatomy of the Lymphatic Glands; The Clinical Causes of Cancer of the Breast. ‘Leaf's personality was one of great charm.’ At the London Hospital he was affectionately known as ‘Daddy Leaf.’ A fine athlete, in later life excelling as a racquet player. Died of cancer Oct. 5, 1910, at Eastbourne. Brother of the above, etc. (Marlborough Coll.
