|Friday, 2nd March 1990||Small Hall,|
Guest of Honour: Sir Colin Cole
Garter Principal King of Arms
A Champagne reception was given before the Dinner, and took place in the Thirkill Room, where a photograph of the Committee and Guests was taken. All then proceeded to the Small Hall, where a photograph of all present was taken before the meal.
Clare Kitchens once again laid on a terrific spread, and the meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all. After dinner, and the Loyal Toast, Garter King of Arms gave an amusing speech, truly fitting of the 40th Annual Dinner, and this speech was replied to by the President.
The Patron, Archbishop Bruno Heim once again gave the Society a generous donation, and imparted his Apostolic Blessing upon the President and the Society before leaving.
Guests remained, drinking port, until about midnight.
