On 31 December 1439 there was an inspeximus of the deed of partition of the lands of Elizabeth Countess of Warwick among her 3 daughters, Eleanor, wife of Edmund, Earl of Dorset; Margaret, wife of John, Lord Talbot; and Elizabeth, wife of George, Lord Latimer (Jeayes, Berkeley Castle Charters, no. 594). In 1449 these 3, with Anne (wife of Richard Neville), daughter by a 2nd wife, were the coheirs of the said Earl of Warwick (Cal. Patent Rolls, 1446–52, pages 262, 451). There was a further partition in 1466 (Jeayes, ut supra, no. 615). For disputes about the Berkeley lands see Early Chanc. Proc., bundle 19, no. 426, and Rolls of Parl., volume v, page 41; and for the Beauchamp inheritance, Early Chanc. Proc., bundle 66, no. 376.
